Over 75% of people served by The Arc do not have family support in their lives. As such, The Arc has become their family and sole source of community, with Direct Support Professionals at the frontline of their care and wellbeing now and every day.

The people we serve and the disability community at large relies on the programs of The Arc to continue to thrive. Many receive vital medications, treatments, and services that we offer, while others depend on the distribution of food from our United Way Food Bank and medications from local pharmacies to maintain their health and well-being. Their livelihoods are intricately tied to the in-person support of their DSPs (direct support professionals), the routine schedules of house managers, and the access to and efficacy of our team.
