Dekendra Wilson is proud to serve as the Director of Health Services for The Arc of Clarke County,
where she has the privilege of supporting and advocating for individuals in the community she calls home. This work is truly meaningful to her, and she is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others every day. Dekendra graduated from Jackson High School in 2014 and continued her education at Coastal Alabama Community College before earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama in 2021. Her journey has always been guided by a passion for helping others and giving back to her community.
Family is at the heart of everything she does. Dekendra married her husband, Trevor Wilson, in 2021, and they welcomed their son, Logan, in 2022. They are her greatest joy and her biggest motivation. When she is not working, she loves spending time together going to the arcade, catching a movie, trying new places to eat, traveling, and relaxing at the beach. Serving others, both professionally and personally, is something she truly cherishes, and she is honored to be part of such a caring and supportive community.
